If you love peace and tranquility with beautiful views of the countryside this is for you. Comfortable well equipped cottage. If you have a dog the garden is all closed in so you can let them enjoy and have peace of mind can't get out. It was lovely to wake up listening to the birds and chickens just above the cottage. When it got chilly the log buRead morerner was cosy. Amazing views of the stately home opposite and its grounds. We hope to return again in the near future. Hide

The cottage is really, light, spacious, well equipped and spotlessly clean. In a lovely spot with ideal access to Crickhowell and the Beacons. Highly recommended.

The perfect cottage for a week away with our dog. Everything you could need to use in the kitchen was available and of great quality. Large fridge freezer and good appliances. Bright and spacious with plenty of room to relax in all rooms. The view from the windows was stunning especially at sunset. Stunning peaceful location with wonderful views. The cottage was however let down by several details. The information pack was very poor and contained limited information ie. no details on recycling which is surprising in todays environmental conscious world. The TV was way too small for the lounge and there was no remote for the DVD player so Read morewe were unable to play the DVDs we had brought with us. The cottage was very warm and uncomfortable to sleep in so we had to open the bedroom window at night which wasn't ideal due to the high winds and rain. It was not possible to regulate the heating. There was no dish cloth or scourer for washing up. We would not return to this cottage. Hide
