Perfectly positioned within the lovely waterside village of Instow which offers a variety of family and dog friendly restaurants and bars as well as a wonderful deli and tearoom, all a level walk along the seafront. Take an evening stroll and watch the sun set, over the fishing village of Appledore. If you can pull yourself away from the property there is a small passenger ferry (which runs during the summer) that takes you across the estuary to the fishing village of Appledore, with its narrow street and cobbled “Drang” ways. Whether you are looking for a relaxing break or adventures and activities the area caters for all needs; take a cycle ride on the beautiful Tarka Trail which runs through the village and offers miles of traffic free cycleways and footpaths, enjoy a day body boarding or book surfing lessons at nearby sandy beach of Westward Ho! Also, well worth a visit are family attractions such as The Big Sheep and The Milky Way, walk down the cobbled street of the quintessential fishing village of Clovelly, visit the beautiful gardens at Tapeley park and RHS Gardens at Rosemoor – to name but a few. This well-presented cottage offers a warm welcome; from the enclosed front garden you enter the light and airy lounge which overlooks the garden and beach and offers comfy seating, TV with Goolge Cromecast, DVD and iPod Doc. The high-quality kitchen/diner, is well-equipped with electric Range oven and 5 gas hobs, microwave, large fridge/freezer and dishwasher, a well-designed room for perfect gatherings and catch ups over breakfast or at the end of the day, open up the bi-fold doors to the inner courtyard where you can sit and relax. There is a washer/dryer located in the utility area within the rear entrance hallway. Completing the ground floor is a separate WC. Heading up the stairs to the first floor you will find the four bedrooms. The first a spacious super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made into a twin on request) with sea views and TV. The second a bright twin bedroom, the third is a stylishly decorated single and finally the fourth is a king-size with en-suite wet room with WC. On this floor you also find a bathroom with shower over bath and WC.
Heading outside from the lounge you’ll find the fully enclosed lawn garden and patio area with large table and chairs, which overlooks the wonderful beach and dunes. There is off-road parking for two cars.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
