Enjoying a delightful position on the western edge of the New Forest National Park, the property offers intimate country-style accommodation with various activities right on the doorstep, including trout fishing, cycling and walking.

Located in a forest setting, this charming cottage is perfect for a couple break and has a local pub within walking distance if you fancy a romantic meal out one evening. There are plenty of walking and cycling routes to explore in the surrounding area and the riverside village of Fordingbridge is approximately 2 miles away. The market town of Ringwood is 6 miles and has a terrific brewery. Bike hire, fishing and horse riding opportunities are available across the New Forest and sandy beaches can be reached within a 25 minute drive.

The living area has a wonderful woodburner for cosy evenings and charming exposed beams that will add to the country-esque feel of the property. With patio doors leading onto the garden, a selection of board games, TV and DVD player, it’s a great spot to relax and unwind. Well equipped for a self-catering break, the kitchen with exposed brick walls also features a coffee machine for your morning caffeine fix and a dining table for indoor meals. The spacious bedroom has one king-size bed and en-suite complete with a bath, overhead shower and WC.

This property offers exceptional privacy despite being semi-detached. The rear patio is the perfect spot for alfresco dining and there are deck chairs and a parasol that offer a comfortable place for a lazy afternoon snooze. Parking is available on the shared drive and a great spot to read the morning paper in the sun is in the pretty front garden which has a bistro set. Cyclists can also find bike storage at the property.

We really had the best of weeks away. Joyce is one of the most welcoming and thoughtful hosts we have ever stayed with. She is considerate in every way. The cottage has all the little touches which provide comfort and style. The extra touches such as cake from the local farm shop make all the difference. The nespresso machine is an extra comfort

Jenny Wrens cottage has some really thoughtful touches including a mirror near a power point in the bedroom, plentiful wooden hangers and labelled keys for the doors and windows. Every room has windows which open for fresh air. In addition, the ready made up fire, pint of milk and farm shop cake were appreciated. A lovely cottage for two, privately tucked away in a very peaceful and beautiful part of the New Forest. The garden was lovely and secluded, with plenty of seating options. The cottage catered for our every need, from the well equipped kitchen, to nice touches like a gas barbecue, and a throw in the lounge for those less warm evenings when the log Read moreburner is not required. Excellent holiday accommodation - comfortable, well-equipped, beautifully appointed house with all the labour-saving equipment needed. Very welcoming and helpful owner living next door. Horses and cattle roam freely close-by on green with good pub a short walk away. Major supermarkets in Ringwood a short drive away with alternative shops in FordingRead morebridge a couple of miles or so down the road. Farm shop also just down the road. A real "gem" - quiet, secluded and beautifully furnished, with a welcoming host next door. Located north of the A31, the cottage is off the main roads, but within easy reach of Fordingbridge and Ringwood - and some lovely Forest walks.

A wonderful cottage in a lovely village in the heart of the New Forest. Ponies and Donkeys walk past the cottage everyday and we had 40 deer running past us in the village one afternoon. The owner left us a bottle of Champagne to see in the New Year, which was a special touch. 10 minutes drive to many walks in open forest and open heathland close tRead moreo Linewood.
