Located on the edge of a Kidwelly, south of Carmarthen, this 19th century property offers the perfect mix of coast and country. It sits on a complex with one other cottage. The town boasts shops, cafes, a museum, the 12th century Kidwelly Castle, and a nature reserve in the former quay. The local area is famed for its beauty, known as the Garden of Wales, so you’ll find a delightful mix of countryside, sea shores, estuaries and woodland, as well as fascinating market towns and villages. Visit Pembrey beach, Pembrey Country Park, or the National Botanic Garden of Wales. Enjoy river and sea fishing, water sports, or walking the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path.
Put your feet up in the cottage lounge/diner. Here you can relax in front of the electric effect wood burner and watch a TV or DVD. In the kitchen, you’ll find everything you could need: electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Upstairs you’ll find the property’s only bedroom - a king-size, which also has a TV - and bathroom, with a bath, overhead shower and WC.
Heading outside into the enclosed garden - which is shared with the holiday cottage next door - you’ll find a patio area with garden furniture and a BBQ, perfect for a post-beach al fresco dinner in the summertime. There’s also a secure, lockable outdoor storage unit for you to store your bikes and/or fishing equipment should you wish. From the garden you have direct access to a public footpath that takes advantage of the wonderful countryside setting - great for walking the dog or simply blowing away the cobwebs. The property has ample parking.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
