Situated in a small village within the Chew Valley, this property is surrounded by excellent walks and cycle routes. To the south, the Mendip Hills is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and boasts a wide array of flora and fauna to be discovered. A short drive will bring you to the historic spa city of Bath, which is famous for its beautiful Georgian architecture, Roman Baths and boutique shops, restaurants and cafes. Closer to home, the local village boasts two pubs, several shop, a Post Office, tennis club and lake.

Arranged on one level, the accommodation is clean, modern and bright with beautiful countryside views. In one corner of the open-plan accommodation, a compact yet well-equipped kitchen contains an electric oven and gas hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine and microwave. Dine at the table nearby before taking to the cosy lounge area to relax in front of the TV/DVD or admire the view through the French doors beyond. This property has two bedrooms, one king-size and one twin with TV/DVD. The bedrooms are clean and bright and share a shower room.

Outside, a large enclosed garden with seating and BBQ is a peaceful spot for enjoying al fresco meals with a view.

A lovely cosy cottage. Our greyhound loved the secure garden and local dog walks. The owners, Nigel and Claire were very welcoming and approachable.

4 adults and 2 small dogs stayed for a long weekend. The owners are lovely and very helpful. Property has everything you could need, pretty walks on the doorstep and plenty of places to eat.

Lovely cottage in a very quiet, private location an easy walk from the lake. Very central for attractions of Bath, Bristol, Wells etc plus nice local walks and villages. On the edge of the village so a bit of a walk to the pub. Cottage is completely step free which was reassuring for my elderly mum and the French doors mean you can sit inside and sRead moretill enjoy the garden. The owners are very helpful and friendly. Situated next to Chew Lake where there are a number of walks to take in the view, this cottage is lovely. It is clean and comfortable and we very much enjoyed our time there. We found plenty of things to do in the area and once back at the cottage we were able to relax and enjoy sitting in the garden.

Lakeside cottage is in a great setting if you like wildlife. The size of the cottage may be a little small for 4 adults but it's perfect for a couple. The garden is large and private. The kitchen is well equipped for self catering. The nearby lake has lovely walks and also a large caf. Supermarkets are within easy reach and it is not far from BristRead moreol and Bath. Hide
