Set in the heart of the lovely village of Snettisham, this pretty cottage makes a cosy retreat for a couple or small family who want to enjoy Norfolk’s beautiful beaches and tranquil countryside.

Snettisham is a pretty coastal village in the heart of Norfolk, with a choice of pubs and restaurants, and which is home to the excellent RSPB Snettisham bird reserve. The ancient Peddars Way runs close to the village, and there’s a wonderful network of paths and bike trails to discover. The beautiful beach is just a short drive away, and the area offers numerous nature reserves to enjoy, including RSPB Titchwell, Blakeney Point and Pensthorpe Natural Park. The village is ideally situated for visiting Heacham, Dersingham and the Royal Family’s Sandringham Estate. The wonderful Holkham Estate and Holkham Hall are also within easy reach. Also nearby are popular towns and villages including Burnham Market, Fakenham, Hunstanton and King’s Lynn.

On entering this attractive red brick terrace holiday cottage, you will find yourself in the bright and spacious lounge. With plenty of comfy seating, TV/DVD and a traditional wood burner, the light and welcoming lounge is an ideal space to relax in at the end of a lovely day. Moving into the stylishly designed kitchen/diner you will find a charming dining area, perfect for four guests, and the kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washing machine. A quite steep but straight staircase leads you up to the first floor, where you will find two cosy bedrooms. There’s a master bedroom with a double bed, and also a twin. You will also find a shower room complete with a walk-in shower and WC.

A split stable door opens out from the kitchen onto an enclosed garden with a paved area with outdoor seating, picnic table, BBQ and gravelled garden area. There is private designated off-road parking available for one car in front of the property.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Please note there is a refundable £100 security deposit for this property payable closer to the start of your holiday.

This is a lovely cottage and perfect for couples or a small family. The cottage was very clean and well equipped. The log burner in the lounge was a lovely treat in the evenings following a cold day exploring Norfolk. The owners provided some basic items, dish washer tablets, milk, bread, biscuits, crisps and some juice. the location is perfect, twRead moreo pubs and a fish and chip shop close by. Lilac cottage is quite small but we settled in. It is very well equipped with more provided then usual such as dishwasher tabs, wash powder tea and coffee. The owner also left lots of lovely treats such as chocolates and mulled wine which was lovely. It is well located and an easy walk to the lovely pub. A well planned holiday cottage providing just enough space for 3 / 4 at a push. Well appointed with quality furniture and appliances. Cosy and welcoming. Would stay again. Good location, can walk to local CoOp in 3 minutes plus 2 pubs within 5 - 10 mins walk. Excellent chippie and good food in Crown. Dogs welcome everywhere.

A lovely, cosy cottage in the very pretty village of Snettisham. The cottage is well equipped and has a secure back garden, with comfortable seating. There are plenty of lovely local walks and dog friendly beaches. The village has two pubs and a shop. A lovely place for a relaxing break.

A beautiful cottage with everything you could need for a lovely home from home type holiday. In a great location to access lots of nearby places of interest and very quiet and tranquil. Absolutely loved it.
