Once you have finished exploring the park, continue to Brixham harbour, which is located a ten-minute walk away. Here you will find plenty to do from seasonal boat trips to neighbouring coastal resorts, to events, cafes and shops. Take to the coast path to reach nearby Churston Ferrers and Fishcombe Cove.

Having undergone a top to bottom refurbishment, this property boasts a stunning interior with a stylish blend of old and new throughout. Enter via a welcoming entrance hall, which opens into the light and bright lounge. With a coal-effect gas fire, coffee table, TV and DVD player, this is a serene and cosy space for unwinding after a long day on foot. Step down onto the lower ground floor to find a contemporary kitchen complete with electric oven, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. Once prepared, enjoy meals at the farmhouse style table in the dining room next door, which seats six guests. Also on this floor is a handy utility room, which houses a washer/dryer, iron, ironing board and plenty of storage, together with an additional bathroom with shower over bath. On the first floor, the double bedroom enjoys pretty views over the town and benefits from plenty of storage space. The spacious family bathroom features a double-ended twin bath, the perfect way to unwind at the end of the day.

Patio door opens from the kitchen onto a south-facing garden with a table, chairs and BBQ, ideal for al fresco meals and drinks as the sun goes down. Off road parking available 500 yards from the property, within a private car port, which can be arranged directly with the owner prior to arrival at an additional charge.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

The house is in a great location up high on a hill, it's amazingly well stocked and equipped, and tastefully decorated. we would happily return. the cream tea for us and dog biscuits for the dog (!) were a nice touch too. Location far enough away from the busy noisy harbour but walking distance to get there. Not for the unfit!!

The house was immaculate, well designed and had every thing we could possibly want from a holiday property. A welcome pack on arrival, dog treats and towels provided were a nice touch. The heating and hot water services were excellent, ideal for a late season booking.

This cottage was perfect for us; it is set on 4 levels and the stairs are steep and curved, so no good for elderly or infirm people. The cottage has good facilities, the bath water was hot and there were plenty of cooking basics that were helpful. The harbour is a short walk away, but it is very hilly. Nice dog friendly property (even had dog towels available to use!) and a short walk from the harbour. The main bedroom was comfortable and opposite a large bathroom. This would benefit from the ability to hook up the shower head, as it didnt we used the bathroom two floors below which has a fixed shower head over the bath.
