One of three beautiful barn conversions surrounded in over 100 acres of farmland, this charming property is just a mile from Portreath and the stunning beaches of North Cornwall.

Located just a mile from Portreath, guests are never far from an excellent portion of fish and chips with sea views. Travel a little further and you’ll reach many beaches and coves where excellent walks can be enjoyed namely the South West Coast Path. Venture to St Agnes to see the remnants of the tin mining industry. For those looking to soak up the local culture, head to The Tate Gallery at St Ives or The Eden Project, while Flambards Theme Park makes a fun day out for the whole family.
Spread across one floor, this tasteful and spacious accommodation is accessible for all. In the kitchen area, you will find everything you should need throughout a great self-catering holiday stay, including an oven with hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer. Once you have finished preparing your meals, head to the lounge/diner, which features a vaulted ceiling with exposed beams. Here you will also find a comfortable sofa and TV/DVD ideal for those cosy nights in after a long day’s touring the county, as well as the dining area perfect for two. The double bedroom is light and airy, while in the bathroom next door there is also a shower over bath with WC.
Outside, there is an enclosed garden area with outdoor seating and a BBQ, perfect for summer evenings. Guests are also invited to explore the farm and say hello to the resident cows and sheep throughout their stay.  There’s also ample off-road parking.

The cottage little Merrose was perfect for me and my wife and our jack Russell Murphy situate on a working farm their was plenty of open land to walk Murf. The cottage was clean and bright with all the accessories you need .The enclosed garden at the rear was perfect for Murf. This cottage is probably ideal for dog owners, being close to Tehidy Park. There is a good kitchen and the bed and sofa are comfortable - good shower too. However we found external care and attention poor so we think the 4 star rating is optimistic.

Little Merrose was the perfect holiday destination for my husband and I, providing us with everything we needed for our stay. The owners left really lovely touches for us on arrival - fresh eggs, tea, coffee, biscuits and a beautiful vase of daffodils.
