Ideal couple’s getaway situated in 90 acres of organic land, less than one mile from the beautiful beach at Wonwell and scenic walks along the South West Coast Path

The nearest beach, Wonwell Sands, an unspoilt bay with a large expanse of exposed sand at low tide. Just eighteen miles around the coast, the city of Plymouth offers many interesting attractions including the historic park at Plymouth Hoe, a stunning art deco lido, The National Marine Aquarium, and the boutiques in the stylish Barbican area. Seven miles to the north of the property is Dartmoor National Park, with its miles of scenic walks, challenging climbs, and numerous riding stables offering guided rides across the moor. This spacious barn conversion makes an ideal place for an adults’ only break.

On entering the property, guests come directly to the delightful open-plan living space with its exposed beams, book-filled shelves, comfortable seating, and a window-side dining table. There is a TV and DVD for guests to enjoy, and the kitchen area is equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment and a washing machine. There is also a downstairs WC with bidet. Stairs lead from the ground floor to the first-floor landing, off from which is the spacious bedroom offering a lovely restful space, which also benefits from an en-suite shower room with a shower cubicle, WC and bidet. Central heating surcharge of £20 a week October - April, payable direct to owner

Three steps lead from the patio doors in the living area out to the private enclosed garden, which makes a lovely place to enjoy the sun and the peaceful surroundings. There is off-road parking available for two cars.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Very comfortable accommodation with everything you need. Very spacious for two people and very dog friendly. Wonderful shower! Owner was on hand if needed. Highly recommend this property.

A lovely property that was clean, tidy and well equipped. Surprisingly spacious for a 1 bedroom property. Good location well away from the hustle and bustle and convenient for the Dolphin Pub which is a 10 - 15 minute walk away. The beach on the river Erme is also walkable. Otherwise all else is a drive away. Certainly good value for money.

Perfect place for a getaway, quiet away from the hustle and bustle all you could hear was birdsong. Cottage very comfortable especially the super king size bed with a real mattress not memory foam. Tilly the dog was also made welcombe with treats bowls and towel. Hoasts were on hand if there was anything we needed will definitely be returning. FiveRead more star definitely. Hide

A lovely, dog friendly retreat for 2. Very quiet and a lovely welcome from the owner who lives next door. Walking distance to pub with food and to a beach which doesn't get too busy. Overall had a lovely week here and will book again.

We felt totally at home beautiful walks, weather was kind to us. Warm welcome from the owners nothing was any trouble. Lovely local pub food delicious and dogs welcome. Residents in the area very welcoming, looking forward to a stay later in the year.

Lovely position and secure garden which is important to us dog owners! Lovely Cliff walk along to Burgh Island and no shortage of local walks . Narrow lanes but as owners away we couldn't find way to access footpath that people had written about . Local pub the Dolphin serves excellent Sunday lunch and ham/egg / chips a must !

Wonderful 1 bed cottage, warm, cosy and dry with all necessary facilities. Quietly located near Kingston with the lovely Dolphin Inn (15 mins walk) and the beautiful beach (20 minutes walk) and onwards around the coastal path. Lovely hosts too. Highly recommended.

This property is super large for two people, making it feel roomy and spacious, rather than cramped and closed in. The location is perfect for the coast and walks. The peace and quiet is ideal for recharging your batteries. Would highly recommend.
