In a quiet location just a minute from a sandy beach, sits this secluded hillside bungalow. It’s the perfect base for exploring nearby Looe as well.

Located on a hillside, this chalet-style bungalow enjoys glimpses of the sea and Millendreath beach, which is just a minute’s walk away. On a clear day you can also see out over the bay to Looe Island. During low tide, you can also walk along the beach to Looe, a popular seaside town where there is ample to discover, it can also be reached via the South West Coast Path, which passes over the headland and extends all the way around Cornwall’s coastline, opening up plenty of places for visitors to explore. Looe is home to some great shops and restaurants, as well as a diving centre, while attractions slightly further afield include the Eden Project which is a 30 minute drive and the Monkey Sanctuary.

Entrance to this property is gained by 45 external steps, with the cottage itself including two bedrooms, a bathroom and a kitchen/diner. The bedrooms consist of a master double with en-suite shower and WC, and a twin. There is a family bathroom with shower over bath and WC. In the cosy lounge there is a TV/DVD. The kitchen/diner is equipped with an oven and hob, fridge with ice compartment and a washing machine. Bed linen, electric, night storage heating and Wi-Fi are all included with a stay here.

Outside of the property there is an enclosed patio area with garden furniture and a BBQ; this is the perfect suntrap for spending a lazy afternoon in. The patio also leads down to a sloped lawn area. Parking for the property is available in the car park opposite with use of free permit provided by the owner. 1 small dog by arrangement with the owner.
 

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

A cosey bungalow with good working storage heating,and always plenty of hot water.(all appreciated as we had dreadful weather for our entire week). Loved the old deep metal bath in the main bathroom. The steps are not for the faint hearted,but worth it for the glimpses of the sea and privacy. Not so practical in wet weather(unloading/loading the caRead morer ). A great little place for the summer months,with small outside area for sitting Hide

The steps are steep to the property but you soon get used to them. Clean, comfy, perfect location, lovely neighbours. Everything you need. We had a wonderful holiday here and will be booking to go again

Lovely property in a great location, just seconds from the beach. Was ideal for us, with 2 showers, so we could hose off the kids at the same time! Cosy, comfy, with everything we needed.

Ideally situated for the beach, and the Cornish coastal path, both just a couple of minutes walk. Patio lovely to sit out on in the sun although limited garden. Need to be prepared for the 45 steps up to the cottage and to the many steep hills around but if youre averagely fit you get used to it. Looe is half an hours walk away by foot or few minutRead morees by car. Shop at a supermarket on the way as no shop in Considerate owner and caretaker who sorted out problem with shower quickly.
