It is a great place to use as a base for trips around the area ranging from walking in the Dartmoor national park to going to nice coastal towns. It is not ideal if you don't have a car as getting there can be a bit tricky, but the main attractions around the area are only (conveniently) accessible by car anyways so a car in the area is strongly reRead morecommended. Apart from that we had a great time and it is a brilliant place to stay at Hide

Welcoming and friendly owners who live next door but still lots of privacy for us and them.

Plenty of internal space in each room. All equipment in perfect order. Great decking and enclosed garden grass area for our dog, separate from owners garden. Although owners lived in other wing, we only saw them occasionally and they were very friendly and helpful. Quiet road in village with car parking in drive area.
