If you’re looking for a base from which to tour the whole of Cornwall and Devon from, this is the place. You will be less than three miles from the national road network that can connect you to a very wide choice of attractions. Explore the north and south coast beaches, the Eden Project, Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor. Or you could visit the interesting coastal city of Plymouth, home of the best shopping experience in the west, or Boscastle, home of the Occult Museum, a unique afternoon out. The ancient former Cornish capital of Launceston is a short drive away and offers a range of shops and pubs as well as a castle to conquer. Within a couple of miles are various sites for some good coarse and river fishing.

On entering this charming single-level detached barn conversion, you will find yourself in the cosy and inviting open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining area, which benefits from underfloor heating. The charming and inviting lounge is ideal for relaxing, with Smart TV. Moving over to the elegant and stylish kitchen, you will find everything you might need during your stay including electric oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge, microwave and Nespresso coffee machine. Lovely cottage, very comfortable in a quiet location. The welcome pack of scones, jam and cream was indeed very welcome after a long journey. Our dog Ossie also appreciated the dog treats! Would definitely book this cottage again.

Wow what can we say....absolutely beautiful cottage in a lovely area. The cottage had everything you could possibly need and the extra touches were lovely (cream tea and dog treats) thank you so much we had the best time!

The cottage could not have been better, perfectly flat, no steps, good lighting, and good heating, thats important during November. Clotted cream and fresh scones awaited our arrival, a Cafeteria was available for fresh ground coffee, and the dogs were familiarising them selves with the garden within minutes of arrival. This was our second stay at Long Horn. It is in a good location to get to the A30 and a short drive to the famous tourist attractions like Tintagel and Boscastle etc. Lovely and clean and a welcome cream tea on arrival. We have just enjoyed a lovely stay at Longhorn Barn . Lovely, very clean and well equipped for our week in Cornwall, and an extremely comfortable bed . Had a lovely stay again at this well equiped converted farm complex. The Long horn barn is very homely and is a well equiped barn conversion, lovely oak furniture with plenty of space and well set out, the bathroom and shower is the best, just wish we could take it home with us. There is a friendly grey tabby cat called Holly who will insist that yRead moreou make a fuss of her but be warned she doesn't like being evicted at bed time and makes her displeasure known . We have just returned from a brilliant stay at long horn barn. It is kept to a really high standard, and has everything you could possibly need from kitchen to cleaning equipment. The barn was spotlessly clean, with beautiful views, great for dogs we enjoyed walking the fields down to the river each morning. Another brilliant holiday at Goodmansleigh. We've not stayed in Long Horn before, but it's up to the same high quality as Highland. Excellent property in a great location for exploring the Tamar Valley and further afield. Very comfortable and clean throughout - the rain shower was a particular luxury! Host was extremely friendly and helpful and we were spoilt with fresh scones on arrival. Will look forward to staying again in the future.

This is our second stay at Longhorn Barn, as per last time it was immaculately turned out even with current restrictions on what's allowed due to CV19, all this was covered in the handbook supplied in the barn. We arrived later than anticipated no thanks to horrendous traffic and found the barn lovely and warm and lit up to guide us in. Two lovely Read morescones and necessary accompaniments greeted us along with tea and coffee, these were most welcomed! Definitely a 5-star stay :) Hide
