Lovely accommodation in a beautiful, quiet setting. A previous review mentioned noise, but the main farm activity is 100 yards away from the property so we didn't find any problem. There are paths through the fields to local villages and also on to the fells.

The cottage was warm, clean, and had a very pleasant feel about it. The sofa and bed were very comfortable! A nice welcome basket of wine, crips, biscuits and milk was appreciated. The cottage is attached to the owners and on a farm - so there was a bit of noise and cars coming and going, but we were out for most of the day walking, so not such a pRead moreroblem. The owners were very helpful and provided us with an HDMI cable when asked. Overall a very nice stay and we enjoyed our time there. Hide

Lovely cottage. It was even better than the pictures. Very clean and comfortable, had everything we needed. Owners were on site and often around for a wave or quick chat, friendly but not intrusive. Lovely peaceful area. Lovely welcome pack on arrival.
