A beautiful lodge set within 3.5 acres of woodland has been furnished to a luxurious standard, offering a stunning base for exploring North Devon.

The Lodge, which is attached to the owner’s home, has its own private parking and secluded garden area, assuring total privacy throughout your stay. From the Lodge, access to the spectacular north coast is easy and you will be able to explore the pretty and sheltered coves of Sandymouth, Duckpool and Welcombe Mouth as well as traditional villages and towns of Tintagel, Clovelly and Appledore. For the more adventurous, the surfing beaches of Westward Ho! and Bude are close by and Dartmoor National Park, Bodmin Moor and Tamar Lakes are all within easy reach for hiking, outdoor adventure and water sports.

The airy and spacious property offers three bedrooms for six guests. There is one king-size bedroom and two twins, which can be made into king-size on request. One family bathroom is available in the Lodge, with a shower over bath and a WC. The lounge, which is the hub of this stunning property, has floor to ceiling windows, exposed beams, a woodburner with first basket of logs included, TV/DVD and French doors leading outside. Staying in is a dream in this property and the custom-built fitted kitchen has everything a group could need for dining at home; electric range cooker and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Through the lounge doors is an enclosed decking area with garden furniture and a secluded lawn. Guests will have access to 3.5 acres of land, where they can explore the extensive garden, woodland, stream and pond. There is private off-road parking for three cars.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Lower Manor Lodge was a wonderful place to stay! It's set in a beautiful plot of land, with a lovely little pond nearby - great for walking dogs. The lodge itself is gorgeous, the perfect place to enjoy the peace and quiet! But the best thing about Lower Manor Lodge is the hosts. Wonderful lodge, perfect for dogs and children. Marika and Trevor were excellent hosts and kept us well supplied with eggs, a beautiful cake was waiting on arrival, all essential supplies were provided (tea, coffee, milk, dishwasher tablets etc..) We absolutely loved this Lodge! From the minute we arrived we was warmly welcomed by the owners, who briefly showed us around before leaving us to settle in. The owners property/gardens are well hidden so you feel totally isolated. The setting is so beautiful with a lovely private woodlands right on the site that is stunning. This lovely property is perfect if you want peace and quiet and to get away from it all. Its set in a beautiful setting with a large paddock, very large pond (which is fenced off if you have small ones) and has chickens and goats which you can feed and supplied us with a plentiful supply of eggs ! We've had a terrific time at the Lower Manor Cottage. It's quite isolated, in the middle of Devon's beautiful countryside. Great location to unwind, go for dog walks and relax with family and friends. Marika and Trevor were fantastic hosts and truly went the extra mile to make our stay memorable and comfortable.
