Enjoy this opulent home-from-home offering a countryside retreat to remember for those looking to truly relax, with picture-perfect views as far as the eye can see, walking paths aplenty and the convenience of a local shop and hospitable pub within walking distance. The pretty town of Kirkbymoorside, home to a gallery, antique shops, team-rooms, and a number of independent shops, in addition to a market on Wednesdays, lies within easy reach, as do the market towns of Pickering and Helmsley.

Next door, you'll find the galley-style kitchen, complete with all the mod cons you'll want and need during your stay. Following a day of discovery, take your pick from one of the three contemporary and spacious bedrooms, all of which benefit from en-suite facilities.

There is much to appreciate outside, with an enclosed private garden overlooking the rolling countryside that is the North York Moors. What's more, guests can make the most of garden furniture and BBQ during those balmy summer evenings. Additional facilities include a shared tennis court, croquet set and billiards room. This property also offers off-road parking. A hot tub can be arranged for guests wishing to hire, an additional cost starting from £175.

Very comfortable cottage in a beautiful setting. We had a wonderful holiday and enjoyed walks from the doorstep. The cottage was very clean and very well equipped. The chocolate brownies were very welcome and delicious. Jane was really helpful and provided an extra large pan for us on request. We would certainly return.

Great location for a North York Moors holiday. Bedroom accommodation good and a large lounge dining room with a log fire (used once). Tennis court and snooker were great. We had difficulty with the bathroom heated towel rails. Other minor issues were rapidly resolved.

Lovely, clean and spacious house. The location was very quiet, but good for visiting various local attractions, pubs and for walking. Having the secluded gravelled garden area to the rear was great, and we would have enjoyed a BBQ there had the evenings been warmer. Loved the tennis court!
