Mallow's Byre was the perfect holiday cottage. We had a really warm and friendly welcome from Rob and Daphne (and cake!) The cottage was delightful - warm, cozy and beautifully decorated. It really felt like a home away from home. The owners have thought of everything, even providing towels and an outside tap to deal with wet and muddy dogs (which Read moreafter the recent bad weather fortunately we didn't need). It's situated in an ideal position to explore the wonderful Dorset beaches. Hide

An excellent holiday property with all the comforts of home. Fabulous location in a very welcoming village. The owners were very welcoming and on hand if needed, but not intrusive in any way. A very relaxing holiday and one I would certainly recommend.

A most comfortable and peaceful cottage with the enclosed garden a bonus, good for our dog and lovely to sit in. There were walks from the door and a very quiet village the pub is very nice. Would certainly like to go back. Very welcoming hosts as well.

Idyllic country retreat. Everything supplied you could possibly need. Lovely safe garden for our dog, and stunning views. Rob & Daphne welcoming and helpful with advice on the area, but were not intrusive. Our weather was mixed, but we were close to a variety of places to visit. We had a great holiday.

Very well designed and located cottage in an historic village of Yetminster . Owners were very welcoming and always available to advise on all aspects of our holiday. The ground (4.5 acres) were available at all times for short walks to see nesting buzzards, butterflies and the very shy small deer.

I cannot commend this property highly enough. So peaceful (other than church bells, which I did get used to) and the wildlife an added bonus. The village has everything you could want. The Flying Pig is a must to visit.

This is a very high standard conversion of a cow byre/piggery to a delightful cottage, with open views from the garden, and not overlooked at all

Perfect week for us and our dog. I found it hard browsing through holiday cottages looking for a practical enclosed garden and most have either a patio or decking but no lawn!! We were delighted when we arrived at Mallows Byre and found it was even better than expected. Yetminster great too. We will definitely return.

Beautiful property in a lovely village, with all the essentials on hand. The views are fabulous and the garden not overlooked so you feel very private in the open countryside. The owners are very friendly and the barn very well equipped. We would definitely want to return!
