Situated in a peaceful and tranquil rural setting these former barns, approached via a private driveway, offer lovely countryside views and retain much of their original charm with exposed beams and stonework. The 15 acres of land are particularly idyllic for dog walkers, leads are not compulsory and dogs are welcome to play fetch in the river.

With many countryside walks direct from the properties, guests will love exploring the land and will struggle to decide on their favourite route! The positioning of the 3 barns is also ideal for larger family gatherings as the barns can be booked together, each barn is fully self-contained and benefit from a shared garden and guests are welcome to set up their own gazebo if they wish. The long rugged National Trust coastlines of North Devon and Cornwall are approximately a 30 minute drive away and offer a range of popular sandy surfing beaches and sheltered coves. The market town of Holsworthy is a short drive and offers a range of traditional shops and there are some lovely family pubs close by which serve food. Attractions to enjoy include Dartmoor, The Big Sheep, The Milky Way, Dartington Crystal, Clovelly and much more.

A stable door leads through to the light and airy lounge, dining room and kitchen. The bathroom is also downstairs with mixer shower over the bath and WC.  Upstairs are the double, twin and single bedrooms, with beautiful original beams running through and rustic stone walls showing the period charm of the property.

Outside is 15 acres for you to explore and an open shared garden area with swing and slide and seating opening out to lakes and rivers, perfect for any family or friends gathering.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Cottage was modern and lovely. Rooms were an adequate size. I paid more for this cottage than I would usually spend, but it was worth it. The walks along the near streams were beautiful and took me and my Son back to nature. We received a lovely welcome package of bread, scones, clotted cream, jam and tea and coffee. A lovely thoughtful touch. The Read moreonly downside were 3 turkeys with attitude! Would definitely return and recommend. Hide
