We have just spent 4 nights in the lodge and loved it. Everything was spotlessly clean and had everything you need. The location is exceptional and so tranquil so if you want a relaxing break I would definitely recommend it.

We wholly recommend Mill Lodge, it ticked all our boxes for a family holiday! The location is perfect, out of the way with a gorgeous river setting, but allowing for exploration of the Lakes. Cockermouth itself was also lovely. The lodge is compact but well equipped and we found it to be child friendly. Our 3 year old especially loved the wet room!Read more A further bonus is the friendly and helpful owner, who made sure we had everything we needed and supplied local knowledge to guide our excursions.
