This property offers a fantastic location close to Brixham harbour with views over the attractive bay, with an enclosed south-facing garden

This property is located just a stone’s throw from Brixham’s bustling marina, where visitors will find fishing boats alongside pleasure craft taking tourists on trips around Torbay. You could also catch a ferry across to the neighbouring resort town of Torquay. Brixham has an interesting array of restaurants, many of which specialise in locally-caught seafood. Those with an interest in history will enjoy jumping on board the town’s replica of the Golden Hind, or learning about the area’s chequered history by following the eye-opening Blackbeard’s Trail.

This spacious property, situated in an enviable location overlooking Brixham Marina, makes a wonderful place for a holiday on the beautiful English Riviera. Entering on the lower-ground floor, guests will find the convenient utility room, where the washing machine and tumble dryer are kept. Continuing to the first floor, guests will find themselves in the comfortable lounge with its large bay window affording views across the harbour. For those who are able to drag themselves away from watching the fascinating comings and goings of the boats, a TV/DVD can be found here. The kitchen is also on the first floor, overlooking the garden to the rear of the property, and is equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, and freezer. The dining room is located just off the kitchen and offers space for six to enjoy meals together. One of the bedrooms is also located on the first floor, a pleasant double room with garden views. The shower room on this floor benefits from under-floor heating, a walk-in shower, and WC. The master bedroom, with its king-size bed and stunning sea views can be found on the first floor, where the third bedroom, another double room, is also located. The bathroom on this floor has a bath, a walk-in shower, WC, and underfloor heating.

Outside, the house has a sunny south-facing garden, with a lawned area and a patio with garden furniture and a BBQ, perfect for guests to enjoy on warm evenings. There is private off-road parking to the rear of the property.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

This is the first time we have been to Brixham over the Xmas period, but have been many times before. The property is ideally situated with great views of the harbour and has parking at the rear. The house is generally well equipped with good furniture and comfortable beds, with the fresh sea air we all had a good nights sleep every night. We have booked this property on at least 10-12 occasions over the past few years. We think this is a fantastic property for the money and have already booked for August this year. The house offers space and location which is ideal for my family.

Views to die for across the harbour and the bay, excellent position for all activities Berry Head walk, coastal walks to Fishcombe Cove and town centre within 500 metres.A great family holiday base.
