Romantic former-barn located on a family-run farm, on the outskirts of the village of Berrynarbor in North Devon, with easy access to beaches and the South West Coast Path.

This property enjoys a quiet, countryside location, on the owner’s farm, within walking distance of Berrynarbor’s handy shop and welcoming pub. The attractive seaside village of Combe Martin, with its picturesque beach, five pubs, and range of eateries is just over a mile away, whilst the popular town of Ilfracombe lies just four miles west of the property and offers a small harbour from which a number of interesting boat trips depart. A particularly pleasant trip takes visitors out into the Bristol Channel, to Lundy, where puffins and seals can be spotted, caves can be explored, and the view from the lighthouse can be enjoyed. This property has been tastefully and lovingly converted from a former farm barn and now offers a relaxing retreat sleeping two.

The ground floor of the property takes the form of a spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with a dining table seating two, comfortable sofa, TV/DVD. The light-filled kitchen area, which overlooks the garden, is equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine, allowing guests to prepare all their favourite meals, if they choose to eat-in. The bathroom is also located on the ground floor, with its shower-over-bath and WC. Open-tread wooden stairs lead to the mezzanine level king-size bedroom, which overlooks the living area  (Please note, this room has restricted headroom in places, due to the sloping ceilings).

Outside, there is a private, enclosed patio garden, with garden furniture, making a pleasant place to enjoy a quiet drink in the sun, or an alfresco meal. There is off-road parking provided.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Moules Farm old Dog House - is a pefect place to explore North Devon. The cottage is kept in amazing condition (as new) and was exceptionaly clean and tidy on arrival. The village is wonderful, the pub serves a wonderful meal, there is a dog walking field and playground down the road. This is a delightful place to stay in a village that is outstandingly pretty and friendly. If you are into gardening the flowers and hedgerows are wonderful. Very well equipped, homely cottage in a great location. We couldn't have wished for a better place to stay, the living area was very cosy and the bed was very comfortable (and big !). The property was spotlessly clean and the private seating area outside was a nice sun-trap in the evening. Overall a great stay, would recommend !

Despite the new normal times that we are in at the moment the cottage was beautifully prepared for my partner, pooch and myself with a welcome note of changes that have had to be undertaken to allow people to still enjoy a holiday. There was only 1 issue and that was there was no grass in the court yard. The area was lovely with nice walks and the Read moredog exercise yard which is great when your pooch wont go on the patio. This is a beautifully renovated cottage in a beautiful village. The Globe pub was very welcoming and the village shop was a stones through away. The standard of cleanliness during this current Covid pandemic was exceptional.
