Stylish and welcoming, this sympathetically converted studio offers open-plan living with a private garden. A peaceful location yet easily accessible to the village of Instow.

This property is situated in the small hamlet of Bickleton, just 2 miles from the popular sailing town of Instow, (5 minutes by car) with a range of shops, restaurants, pubs and a mini supermarket. Wander along the promenade to enjoy a locally made Hockings ice cream, head to the dunes for fantastic walks or take to the water with a choice of water sports and boat trips available. Other popular nearby attractions and places to visit include the beach and amusements at Westward Ho!, The Big Sheep and the scenic village of Appledore.

The property is accessed via the parking area and external stone steps which lead you up through the garden to your front door. Stepping inside, the property is comfortable and cosy and has everything you need for a pleasant stay. The open-plan studio has a kitchenette with a microwave oven, sink, George Foreman grill, toaster, kettle and a fridge with freezer section. A breakfast bar and stools take advantage of the garden view and makes mealtimes a breeze. There is a warming wood burner with an initial supply of logs included. Comfy bucket chairs allow you to relax and watch the Smart TV. Alternatively, lay out on the king-size bed and glimpse the stars through the Velux windows. A modern and contemporary shower room with multi-spray shower and WC completes the accommodation.

Outside, the elevated and sloped gardens are mainly lawn with garden furniture and a BBQ for enjoying al fresco meals or just sitting around the firepit of an evening. Ample off-road parking is available on the driveway and there is secure storage for bikes, surfboards and wetsuits on request.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

The barn was absolutely amazing, spotlessly clean and perfect for a weekend away. The location was stunning with the beach, bars and restaurants walking distance. Chris and Hannah were welcoming and informative. There are dog friendly pubs and a really friendly local pub called the New Inn which has a terrific landlady who goes above and beyond to Read moremake you feel welcome. We would be happy to return and highly recommend a stay here. Hide

An immaculate and comfortable apartment in an area close to beaches and beautiful countryside. A little unnerved by the quiet lane initially but we soon got over that. Dog friendly with all that a dog needed and ours settled very happily.
