Located in the pretty town of Cockermouth with lots of local amenities on your doorstep. This offers an ideal location to explore all that the Lake District National Park has to offer.

The detached property is situated just a mile from the town centre where there are lots of lovely cafes, bars and independent shops to explore. Cockermouth was the birthplace of William Wordsworth’s, the National Trust Wordsworth House and gardens is a lovely place to visit. The town is also where England Cricketer Ben Stokes grew up! Younger members of the family may enjoy a day out at the nearby Alpaca Centre or the Lake District Wildlife Park. The local area is a haven for walkers and lovers of the great outdoors with lots of places to explore.

This bright spacious property offers you a large lounge with TV and dining area where patio doors open onto the garden, the well-equipped kitchen is next door with electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge/freezer. There is a breakfast area just off the kitchen which offers a dining area which is a great space to catch up over a coffee. Off the kitchen there is separate WC and access out to the back garden. Heading up to the first floor there are three bedrooms, two double bedrooms and a single bedroom, there is also a family bathroom with a bath and shower over and WC just off the landing area.

The back garden is enclosed with a small patio, lawn and seating. At the front of the house there is a small front garden with a drive for one car and there is a garage which accommodates one other car.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Great property for a family with a dog. Beds were so comfy! A park close by for walks and a short cut to town to save you taking the car. Great base for exploring. Looking forward to rebooking to visit in 2021! Thanks!

The cottage was lovely and comfortable. The standard of the contents was very high with everything that was needed. The bedding was lovely and the kitchen was well equipped.

Lovely property, very clean and well equiped. Bed linen, pillows etc high quality. Very close to the River for nice long walks. Great for walking dog walking. Would highly recommend this property.

Lovely house. The kitchen was so well equipped, everything you could want and plenty of unexpected extras. Great space for a family with a big table and big living room with lots of seating. The cottage have every thing we needed we were 5 adults and we wanted for nothing plenty of space beautiful and clean bedding lovely towels and we travelled out every day somewhere different, all the information in the folder brilliant

Our Cockermouth cottage was perfect base for exploring Cumbria and the Lake District. There was a great shortcut to the park so was perfect for dog walks. All 4 beds were super comfy and the neighbourhood was quiet
