Take time out to relax in this contemporary cottage, set in a peaceful village with a network of popular walking routes nearby and easy access to the stunning coastline and Needles.

This charming property is set in the heart of the pretty village of Brighstone, which is home to many characterful properties and is surrounded by picturesque countryside. Enjoy a stroll to the local pub, pick up your essentials in the shop, or why not explore the history of the village at the museum. A short drive will take you to the beaches at Brighstone Bay, which are popular for fossil hunting and surfing. This area is also a haven for keen walkers and cyclists, with nearby footpaths leading to Brighstone Downs and the renowned Tennyson Trail, which links Carisbrooke with The Needles. The National Trust owned Mottistone Manor is also close by, where you can explore the idyllic gardens.

Take the short path from the parking area to the entrance of this terraced property. Step into the inviting hallway, which has a useful separate WC. Next is the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, which is a bright and airy space cleverly divided into sociable areas. The lounge area is the ideal spot to relax with a good book or perhaps curl up with your four legged friend and watch a film on the TV/DVD. The kitchen area is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. There is a comfortable dining space opposite, perfect for relaxed meals for four. Heading back into the hallway you will find a flight of stairs that lead you to the first floor, here you can relax in the king-size bedroom to the rear of the house, overlooking the garden. Just next door is a stylish bathroom with separate shower and WC. Completing the accommodation is a pretty twin room set to the front of the cottage.

Heading outside from the lounge/kitchen/diner you will find a patio and small lawn, which is fully enclosed and has garden furniture. Off-road parking for one car is available to the side of the terrace, just along the path. Additional roadside parking can be found to the front of the property and is subject to availability.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

This is a well equipped, comfortable cottage that feels spacious. Brighstone is a lovely village and is an excellent location to explore the West of the island. My family love the cottage, no doubt we will be back.

This cottage goes that little bit extra with regard to being dog friendly. Would highly recommend the cottage as a base for exploring the Island. 10 min walk to the beach and excellent village shop just around the corner.

This cottage is almost brand new! It's well furnished and very comfortable. 2 large double bedrooms and a big bathroom with full bath and a walk in shower. An excellent cottage in a beautiful location. Doesnt matter if you are taking a dog or not this is a fantastic base for your stay in Isle of Wight. Brighstone must be the nicest village on the island and this cottage has everything you need. Has to be ten out of ten from us.

Very well appointed for the perfect doggy holiday. Bed very comfy. Little gifts on arrival much appreciated. Situation excellent for access to Tennison trail and many other walks. Local pubs good value. Village tranquil.

Excellent, spacious and very clean accommodation. Fully enclosed back garden. Outstanding location with great scenery plus walks for humans and dogs alike. Peaceful in the evenings. Pub and shop within a short walking distance. Will probably return in the future.

We had a wonderful stay here. The cottage has pretty much everything you could need and was very welcoming for our dog too which was lovely. Clean and modern inside and a fully enclosed rear garden were definite bonuses. Hope to be back.

Modern, cosy and very comfortable, amazing eco system fir heating set in a gorgeous friendly village, arrive on the friday and wait till the evening and hear the church bells at bell ringing practice. Near the most beautiful Compton bay beach which is truly magical.
