A six mile drive will bring you to Bude where you will find sandy beaches, the boating canal, leisure pool, golf course, a selection of shops, coffee shops and award winning restaurants and bistros. Or take a day out to the fishing village of Clovelly with its steep, traffic-free cobbled streets that will take you back in time, or the fishing villages of Padstow and Boscastle which are also well worth a visit. Other attractions in the area include The Eden Project, The Milky Way, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Hartland Abbey and National Trust properties and gardens.

In the garden you will find a detached annexe to the rear of the farmhouse offering sleeping accommodation for two people. There is a beautiful decked area with a sunken hot tub set in a pretty secluded setting for guests' private use, perfect for relaxing summer evenings. Next to the hot tub is a conservatory/reading area with a private sauna overlooking the orchard with blossom trees and lambs can be seen at certain times of the year grazing in the orchard. There is an enclosed play area featuring a climbing frame and swings just off the main garden, perfect for younger guests. Ample off road parking is available.
