A six mile drive will bring you to Bude where you will find sandy beaches, the boating canal, leisure pool, golf course, a selection of shops, coffee shops and award winning restaurants and bistros. Or take a day out to the fishing village of Clovelly with its steep, traffic-free cobbled streets that will take you back in time, or the fishing villages of Padstow and Boscastle which are also well worth a visit. Other attractions in the area include The Eden Project, The Milky Way, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Hartland Abbey and National Trust properties and gardens.

There is a beautiful decked area with a sunken hot tub set in a pretty secluded setting for guests' private use, perfect for relaxing summer evenings. Next to the hot tub is a conservatory/reading area with a private sauna overlooking the orchard with blossom trees and lambs can be seen at certain times of the year grazing in the orchard. There is an enclosed play area featuring a climbing frame and swings just off the main garden, perfect for younger guests. Ample off road parking is available.
