Among the popular tourist attractions nearby are Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, Somerwest World, Brean Leisure Park, West Somerset Steam Railway, Clarks Village and Wimbleball Reservoir. You can head to the glorious Somerset coast and enjoy the beautiful beaches and lovely seaside towns including Burnham-on-Sea, Minehead, Watchet, and Brean. Popular local towns and cities include Wells, Bridgwater, Tiverton and Taunton. This is a wonderful base for walkers, cyclists and nature-lovers keen to discover the best of Somerset. On entering this charming barn conversion, which retains some original features including traditional exposed beams, you will find yourself in the tastefully furnished and welcoming lounge/diner. You will also find a bathroom complete with bath, hand-held shower, shower cubicle and WC. Heading up to the first floor, you will find two cosy bedrooms. There’s a galleried double room which overlooks the lounge, and a comfy twin bedroom. Moving outside, you can relax on the enclosed patio with seating, with a selection of outdoor games and a BBQ available on request. Guests are also invited to explore the 6 acres of land which are home to the owners’ chickens and, occasionally, cows and sheep.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

If you want nice quite get away this is great. Be prepared - nearest shop about 6 miles away. Although pub about 5 minute drive which serves food basic pub food.

Incredible value for money and this was one of my favourite cottages I have ever stayed in. Watching the stars in bed, beautiful lake and sweet lovely hosts. It is an ideal break from the city.

This was our second visit this year and did not disappoint. Beautiful setting and perfect location for getting about. Great if you have a dog, as the properties all have enclosed space outside. Would definitely recommend.

The property is equipped to a very high standard throughout, is well furnished and is beautifully clean. The owners have invested both a considerable amount of money and time in the properties and I would highly recommend staying there.

We stayed at South Barn, which we think of the cottages available at Old Holcombe Water Farm is the one that is most perfectly positioned. It has an unobstructed view of the surrounding countryside and overlooks the small lake with all the wildlife that that brings. Beautiful cottage , lovely bathroom, really comfortable bed, peaceful surroundings, a little way from shops and restaurants wont deliver that far but such a beautiful location. Sheep/cows and wonderful free range eggs. Friendly owners. Has everything you need. Great its dog friendly, good secure garden. There was nothing to dislike about it.
