Should you wish to venture out of the grounds, there’s plenty to discover nearby, including the north coast of Cornwall, with its many lovely sandy beaches and pretty seaside villages, as well as the dramatic landscapes of Bodmin Moor, where there are plenty of fantastic walks and cycle rides to be had. The town of Bude is just a 20-minute drive away and offers a wide choice of shops, pubs and restaurants, alongside a leisure pool, golf course and canal, for an enjoyable day out. Also within a reasonable driving distance are Padstow, Boscastle and Tintagel.
Arranged on a single storey, this detached converted barn has bags of character, seen in features throughout which include exposed stonework and wooden beams. The lounge, kitchen and diner are all open-plan, creating a large social space and the heart of the home. Within the lounge area, you’ll be greeted by a feature granite fireplace with wood burner, offering up crackling flames as you relax and watch the Smart TV and DVD. Into the farmhouse-style kitchen, guests will find all the appliances they need to ensure they feel at home, including an oven and hob, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, microwave and use of tumble dryer. Should you wish to take a break from cooking, a chef can be arranged to provide home cooked meals. The dining table looks out through the patio doors to the surrounding countryside views. This property has three bedrooms: Two king-size bedrooms and one with three single beds. One of the king-size bedrooms benefits from an en-suite. There is also a family bathroom, which has a bath, shower and WC. For an even more relaxing stay, reflexology and massage treatments can also be arranged with the owner.
Reached through the patio doors in the dining area, the property enjoys a decked balcony area with seating, perfect for sitting back and watching the sunset. There is also an enclosed garden area with a BBQ to cook up an al fresco meal. Elsewhere on site, guests are free to enjoy the wealth of leisure facilities, which are shared with the other properties; these include a coarse fishing lake, full-sized tennis court, swings, sandpits and a large indoor games area. In here guests will find facilities to play badminton, table tennis, football and basketball as well as toddler-friendly toys. There are also many farm activities to enjoy including walks along the farm trail, pony rides, collecting the eggs from the chickens, meeting the pigs, alpacas and calves and bottle feeding the lambs. 1 dog welcome between 1st September through until 26th May excluding peak Easter period. There will be a refundable security deposit of £150 for 1 dog payable on arrival.
