Traditional property located in the heart of Brixham, perfect for all the family to enjoy a day at the beach and everything else the area has to offer.

Brixham provides the perfect backdrop for that all-important summer holiday. Renowned for its pretty harbour, a perfect spot for enjoying water sports or trying your hand at crabbing, it offers a choice of beaches and boasts an open-air sea water lido at Shoalstone. Surrounding this is an assortment of colourful cottages housing seafood restaurants, cafes, shops and pubs. If an active holiday is more your style then there are plenty of things to keep you busy from golf, walking and cycling. Other attractions within easy reach include Kent’s Cavern, Paignton Zoo, Living Coast, Quay West, Plymouth and Exeter for a fun day out.

Stepping through the front door you will be welcomed into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge area decorated with a nautical theme will make you feel right at home with comfy sofas and Smart TV. The dining table takes centre stage in the kitchen as it is great for sitting and discussing your day's activities over a home cooked meal prepared in the well-equipped kitchen with electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Just off the lounge is a utility room housing the washing machine and tumble dryer with a separate WC. Heading up to the first floor you will find the bathroom with shower over bath and WC and the spacious master king-size bedroom with en-suite shower room with shower and WC. From the landing a curved staircase will take you to the second floor and here you will find the last two bedrooms, a twin and a double. This floor has limited head space due to sloping ceilings.

Outside the property you will find a fully enclosed gravelled garden area and decking with garden furniture and charcoal BBQ for those warm summer evenings. Roadside parking can be found a short walk from the property and it is also possible to purchase weekly permits for the local car parks.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

  • Brixham is busy fishing village situated on a very steep hill, so access to some parts of the village can be challenging.
  • Many of the amenities and cottages in Brixham are accessed via steps some of which can be steep.

  • There are many small winding streets that are not suitable for cars, therefore many properties in Brixham do not have private parking. However, alternative parking is available in local carparks.

Location great Cottage very comfortable Accessibility OK the parking for unloading a bit difficult but then again parking is difficult in most parts of the area

The cottage is well positioned and is a great space in the center of Brixham. They are clear about the no parking and I would strongly advise booking the Torbay parking permit, again this is value for money and can be used all over the area. A charming place.

Very good location with shop and eateries close by. Plenty of places to explore on foot and by car . Information provided by the owner prior to arriving was very helpful.
