Otter Lodge is small but just what we were looking for; with an elderly dog that gets a bit disoriented in new places. It had everything we needed. Lovely view of the farm and Dawlish water running past the deck. We heard lots of Owl hoots and saw plenty of pheasants. The drive in isnt for the faint hearted - its a good 10-15 mins from a main road Read moreand mainly single track. Very nice place for a quiet peaceful getaway. Road on the leadup to the cottage are an issue as they are only 7ft wide. No good for nervous drivers or those who can't reverse.

Ideal if you want a really peaceful get away. The owners were around if needed but never intrusive. The gardens are beautiful and the outside decking so private you could sit and watch the water flow past for hours with just the sound of the birds singing.

We really loved the setting and the amount of wildlife we saw, it was lovely and peaceful, just what we needed. Anyone wanting to escape the noise of the town will love it.

Nice cottage and ideally situated for Dawlish and Devon. The roads in and around the cottage are devilishly narrow, however the cottage is only 1.25miles from Dawlish. Everything is quiet around the cottage and the brook running alongside the cottage is nice.
