This delightful Devon retreat is situated in the heart of the seaside resort of Dawlish Warren.  A sandy beach and all amenities are within easy reach, making this the perfect getaway.

This stylish and cosy apartment is perfectly situated in a quiet area but only a moment’s walk from an array of shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. A short level walk takes you to the blue flag beach and nature reserve, home to many rare species of birds and plants.  Keen walkers will enjoy the Exe Estuary Footpath, leading all the way to Exmouth via Cockwood with its charming harbourside pubs, Powderham Castle, the bustling city of Exeter, and the quaint old port of Topsham.  Regular trains also follow this route - said to be one of the most beautiful rail journeys in the world - and for boat lovers there is a ferry from nearby Starcross to Exmouth.  From Exmouth you can enjoy cruises or fishing trips, or get a water taxi to the famous River Exe Café in the middle of the estuary.  In the other direction, Teignmouth, Newton  Abbot and the historic maritime city of Plymouth are all within easy reach by rail or road.  For those truly wishing to get away from it all, a visit to the awe-inspiring landscape of Dartmoor is a must.

The apartment is on the second floor and the open-plan living area has far-reaching views across the estuary to Exmouth and the Jurassic Coast.  It has been beautifully refurbished and has underfloor heating throughout.  The fully-equipped kitchen offers an electric oven and hob, fridge-freezer, washer-dryer and dishwasher, and the fabulous living area has an electric reclining sofa - the perfect place to relax while watching the 55" smart TV with Netflix and soundbar.  There is also a private balcony with seating; a great space to enjoy your morning coffee or evening drinks.  The master bedroom is a very comfortable kingsize with its own separate dressing room, and completing the accommodation is the bathroom, which offers a bath with shower over, basin and WC as well as colour-changing LED mood lighting, steam-free mirrors, and a Bluetooth speaker.  Outside there are large and well-kept communal gardens, and an allocated parking space.

Great place to base yourself for a tour of Devon . Bear in mind it's a flat and not a cottage .No issues .Owners are lovely

The accommodation was a real home from home with everything you could want and an ideal location for exploring the surrounding area. Train station just a stones throw away so used train on several occasions.

The property is in a great location for all amenities, a five minute walk to the train station, and a couple minutes more to the beach. Plenty of pubs and eateries nearby. All facilities very good and information booklet very informative. Location ideal for transport, train, bus if you do not have a car. Clean and welcome with scones & jam/ cream along with milk and Rose's a great personal touch. Communication with the owners was excellent to arrange for parking on arrival. Complete restful holiday achieved.

A cream tea and flowers, followed by a phone call from the owners, were a lovely welcome to a very well appointed flat. There were all the mod cons you could wish for. The flat was in Dawlish Warren and provided an excellent base for our holiday.

Nicely equipped apartment on a residential complex in small seaside village on second floor. Rail line very convenient and operates to Exeter late into the evening. 5 different types of pubs, bakery, local supermarkets, fish shops & Chinese takeaway all close by. Owners also live on same complex if you need them for anything.
