With sea views from many of the rooms, this beautifully decorated cottage enjoys a prime position along one of Appledore’s quaint narrow streets.

From the delightful cottage you can take a short stroll to Appledore’s bustling quayside with its array of restaurants, pubs, shops and galleries. Just a short drive will take you to the neighbouring town of Westward Ho! with its two miles of golden sands, perfect for surfers and sunbathers alike. You will be spoilt for choice when it comes to choosing local days out; children will love the Milky Way and the Big Sheep, but you’ll also have the likes of RHS Rosemoor Gardens, day trips to the beautiful Lundy Island, the unique cliffside village of Clovelly, Tapeley Park and several National Trust properties to explore nearby. Set across three floors, many of the rooms look out across the estuary to the sea.

As you enter the property you will be greeted with the bright and airy kitchen/diner. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, microwave, TV and bi-folding doors out on to the patio. There is also additional seating just inside the bi-fold doors, where you can relax and soak up the views, and after a busy day you can retire as a family to the separate lounge to cosy up in front of the TV/Blu-ray. There is also a shower room with WC and underfloor heating on the ground floor. The bedrooms are split between the other two floors and are accessed via cottage style stairs. On the first floor, you will find one double bedroom and a twin room, with a further double bedroom up a second set of stairs, along with the bathroom with shower over bath and WC. In both of the double rooms you can lie back and enjoy incredible sea views from the bed.

There is an outside enclosed patio area with a table and seating where you can enjoy the stunning sea views, and there is parking available in either the public car park, or roadside parking is a two-minute walk.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

This cottage is in a lovely position and the small terrace always was sheltered and caught the sun .Great area for a proper seaside holiday and would thoroughly recommend this house .

Great position and fantastic views. Settees in the dining area have been replaced and are a great improvement. Always loved the cottage but its ready for a revamp.

Great cottage in a wonderful location overlooking the estuary. Fab views from the bedrooms. Lovely decorated and also in my favourite colours and style so was a home from home! Especially the piccy of Il de Oleron as we go there every year. Great eateries / bars near by and friendly locals. Great location for wonderful beaches and scenary.
