This stone built Cornish cottage boasts a charming interior with exposed beams throughout and a large enclosed garden, perfect for dogs and children alike.

Nestled beautifully on the outskirts of the quaint rural village of Jacobstow, this cottage is just a mile from the A39, which links you to Newquay, Padstow and Tintagel to name a few top Cornish attractions. The surfing capital of England, Newquay boasts a long sandy beach, excellent shopping and dining facilities. If escapism is what you’re looking for, Bodmin Moor’s breath-taking rugged landscapes and fantastic walks are just a short drive away.

Inside, the reception rooms are open plan, making for a sociable stay for all. In the kitchen area, there is an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, dishwasher and washing machine. Once you have finished preparing your meals, dine at the large pine table before retreating to the sitting area’s comfortable leather sofas. Relax beside TV/DVD and the wood burner with a book or watch a film from the great selection of DVDs available. There are two bedrooms, one double and one twin, both featuring pine furniture and exposed beams. The bedrooms share a family bathroom with overhead shower and WC.

The cottage is surrounded by a large enclosed garden, perfect for dogs and children. A covered decked area with a table and chairs is ideal for al fresco dining with views across the valley, while children will enjoy exploring the fairy garden hidden amongst the trees.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Beautiful location perfect for visiting key places like Tintagel, Boscastle, port Isaac etc. Comfortable cottage with everything you need. Fantastic hosts and made to feel very welcome.

Pinestone cottage is a perfect holiday accommodation. Very clean and well equipped with a lovely enclosed garden which is perfect for our energetic 3 year old golden retriever. The owners make you feel so welcome too. We will definitely book to stay there again.

Very comfortable accom and great for dogs No WiFi , which was major drama for teenagers but great for the adults , good excuse to go to local pub who do have WiFi Couldnt fault the property

We really enjoyed our stay ay Pinestone set in a lovely location with open fields a large garden ideal for our four dogs who accompanied us The garden is lovely and fully enclosed. Rosie and Ross are great hosts and will help with any queries The cottage is very comfortable and with everything to hand, plus a very comfortable double bed. There was Read moreplenty of wildlife the cows in the field and the fox who frequents the field as well as all the birds. Nice scones and cream as well Thankyou Hide

Lovely cottage, clean and tidy. The garden is lovely and the dogs enjoyed it. All you can hear are the birds tweeting it is so peaceful and an ideal place for some peace and quiet with beautiful countryside and the beach is not too far away either.

Pinestone cottage is a real home from home, comfortable, cosy and well appointed. You have everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The location is great for touring the local area, however it is also ideally situated for those who wish to unwind and do very little, the immediate scenery from the cottage is lovely. Easy access to the N Cornwall coast ideally situated as a base. The garden is a delight particularly for dogs especially when the odd misguided pheasant decides to visit.
