Nestled beautifully on the outskirts of the quaint rural village of Jacobstow, this cottage is just a mile from the A39, which links you to Newquay, Padstow and Tintagel to name a few top Cornish attractions. The surfing capital of England, Newquay boasts a long sandy beach, excellent shopping and dining facilities. If escapism is what you’re looking for, Bodmin Moor’s breath-taking rugged landscapes and fantastic walks are just a short drive away.
Inside, the reception rooms are open plan, making for a sociable stay for all. In the kitchen area, there is an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, dishwasher and washing machine. Once you have finished preparing your meals, dine at the large pine table before retreating to the sitting area’s comfortable leather sofas. Relax beside TV/DVD and the wood burner with a book or watch a film from the great selection of DVDs available. There are two bedrooms, one double and one twin, both featuring pine furniture and exposed beams. The bedrooms share a family bathroom with overhead shower and WC.
The cottage is surrounded by a large enclosed garden, perfect for dogs and children. A covered decked area with a table and chairs is ideal for al fresco dining with views across the valley, while children will enjoy exploring the fairy garden hidden amongst the trees.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
