This property enjoys a tranquil rural Devon location yet is a short drive from a great selection of beaches, including the Victorian seaside resort of Sidmouth which boasts many listed buildings which hark back to the town’s heyday, and also Dorset’s Jurassic Coast including Lyme Regis. Nearby, the market town of Honiton offers a range of independent shops, pubs, and restaurants, and the cathedral city of Exeter an fabulous selection of shops and eateries. Foodies will also be in their element with salubrious Lympstone Manor, the floating River Exe Cafe and the town of Axminster, home to River Cottage, where the owner and celebrity chef Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall runs a programme of interesting cookery courses, all within easy reach.

A step leads up to the front door of this single-story studio-style property, where guests can enjoy comfortable accommodation, perfect for a relaxing Devon break. The open-plan living space gives the property a spacious and airy feel and has been lovingly styled with a calming colour palette. The lounge area has two comfortable sofas, a cosy wood burner and a TV, and the kitchen boasts all the essentials including an electric oven and hob, microwave and a fridge. Beyond the kitchen area, the sleeping area has a double bed and leading from this an en-suite shower and WC.

Outside, there is an enclosed patio area which benefits from lovely views over the lake and neighbouring fields, and offers outdoor seating and a BBQ, perfect for al fresco meals or evening drinks during the warmer months. Off-road parking for one car is also provided.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Smart modern studio apartment. If you want a quite relaxing holiday cottage, this is the one. No concerns wrg to the virus clean down. Owners very friendly and provide eggs and milk on arrival
