We had a lovely week in this pretty cottage, despite the wet weather! As we were not eating out etc because of the pandemic, it was good to have a well-equipped kitchen, and be generally comfortable. The location is great and we would definitely return! We can recommend Lanercost Priory and Birdoswald Roman Fort, both within easy distance.

Cottage is in a great location for visiting Hadrians wall as well as the lakes. The owners are very welcoming. The cottage is nice but maybe needs updating in some areas.

A comfortable, cosy cottage tucked away in a secluded spot. The ground floor is wheelchair accessible with space under the bed to use a mobile hoist. Outside there is a pleasant area to sit if the weather is kind. The kitchen is well stocked with pans, crockery and utensils for self catering.
