Perfect for thrill seekers with rock climbing and canoeing at Symonds Yat, Go Ape at Mallards Pike and mountain biking throughout the Forest of Dean and Black Mountains across the Welsh Border. Whatever the time of year you’ll be spoilt for choice with a vibrant events calendar, for foodies, festivals to include Abergavenny and Forest Showcase festival, for music lovers many of the smaller villages host festivals throughout the summer months. Not forgetting the Hay on Wye festival and Cheltenham Gold Cup.
Step through the wooden gate and across the courtyard to the entrance of the cottage. Formally the hub of the village as the local store, step inside where you can leave your boots and coats behind. The kitchen/diner has a contemporary twist along with views onto the courtyard, the kitchen area is well-equipped with gas hob and electric oven, microwave, fridge with ice compartment and washing machine, there is a small table and chairs for dining if you chose to eat in. The lounge provides the perfect space for relaxing after a day exploring, the simple colours are enhanced with the original exposed stone, there is a TV and DVD. So, when the day is done climb the cottage style staircase where you will find a double room with views across to the church along with a bunk bedroom. There is a bathroom with shower over bath and WC.
Open the door onto the enclosed courtyard, a sunny space with table and chairs. There is off road parking for one car.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
