This property is situated in a village location just three miles from the town of Brigend in South Wales. There is plenty to see and do in the area, whatever visitors interests are. Those who enjoy shopping, dining, and tasting some of the local culture, will love the fact that both Cardiff and Swansea are within easy reach of the property, with both of them being around twenty miles away. (Please check admittance for the various attractions).

A gate from the pavement leads guests to the front door of this charming five-star cottage, bringing them directly to the welcoming lounge/diner which has been tastefully finished in an attractive shabby-chic style and offers comfortable seating, a TV with Sky channels, and a window-side dining table. The kitchen has been finished in a complementary style to the main living area and offers an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, wine cooler, and washing machine. Stairs lead up to the restful, elegantly styled bedroom on the first floor, where a king-size bed sits under the exposed beams. The bathroom, also found on the first floor, offers a shower-over-bath and WC.

A door from the kitchen leads out to enclosed garden to the rear of the property, which is mainly set to lawn and has a raised decked area with garden furniture in the centre. There is roadside parking available on the street in front of the cottage.

We found the cottage very comfortable and we needed for nothing. The location was perfect for exploring the area. The area itself had loads to do. We have a dog and there were great places to take the dog for walks. We would fome again!

We had a lovely week in Rees Cottage. Ideal location for lots of dog walking, close to Bryngarw Country Park, Margam Country Park and very dog-friendly Ogmore Beach. Everything we needed was available in the cottage, especially the WiFi! Nice secure garden for us and our dog to play and relax in. Handy Supermarket only 10 minutes walk down the roadRead more. Common land opposite cottage for some nice dog walks. All in all a lovely cottage - we highly recommend it. Hide

The cottage is a really good base to explore the South Wales coast and was really good with our 2 dogs. The property is not huge, but for 2 adults and pets, quite adequate. Having a completely enclosed garden front and back was a real bonus too. There is a nice little decked area with a gazebo framework, which was very pleasant to sit out in with aRead more drink after a day out exploring. The cottage is very well appointed and we were quite comfortable for our week. Hide

Fabulous welcome hamper. Such a lovely cute cottage. Just a personal preference - didnt realise it was in a town, would have preferred it to be more rural, but I think that was down to my research.
