Relaxing rural location. Lovely grounds and house with all you could possibly need for a holiday. Plenty to do and places to visit nearby. Very quiet cows coming in and out of the farmyard for milking. They were very contented as were we.

A very peaceful place for a relaxing holiday. The cottage was beautifully presented with everything one could possibly need. The bed deserves a special mention, so comfortable. So many places to visit in this gorgeous part of Wales, Calder Island being a highlight for us. We recommend this property without any hesitation.

Beautiful cottage which is so well-equipped we wanted for nothing. Warm and cosy on arrival, greeted by very friendly hosts who were always happy to chat, despite being working farmers. It is a real treat for birdwatchers we saw at Read moreleast 10 species of birds feeding on the tree in the garden and saw woodpeckers and birds of prey from the windows. However, there are lots of things to see and do in the surrounding area. We spent a lovely few hours browsing the shops in Narberth and went to Manor Park Wildlife Park. There is a huge choice of beaches to visit nearby. The cottage is on a working dairy farm but is extremely quiet. There is central heating, an AGA and a log burners so there is no chance of being cold. There are lots of thoughtful touches provided by the owners including games, books, laundry and dishwasher tabs, blankets and poo bags for the dogs, tea and coffee, etc. Also a few thoughtful items to welcome us including milk and fruit juice. This is a lovely cottage in a peaceful rural setting, owned by very welcoming and helpful family. It is important to note Rhydwen is a family run working dairy farm, which many will find very interesting. In no way does this detract from enjoying the peace and quiet, and the birds feeding are wonderful to watch.

Well equipped and overall comfortable. Loo is other end of cottage from bedroom and down two steps so if you need to go in the night you have a bit of a trek and disturb dogs if sleeping in kitchen. Peaceful location but possibly too remote as no pub or restaurant near or to our liking.
