We stayed here for a birthday celebration and it was delightful. The rooms were comfortable and the place had a lovely atmosphere. It was well eqipped and there was plenty of room. We would have preferred a slightly later departure time so the Sunday morning was not so rushed, especially as we were only there for the weekend.

We found it a very comfortable cottage with good en-suite facilities which satisfied all our needs. It was close to all the attractions/activities that we required. The only downside was the lack of parking at the property - we were directed to a car park at the rear of the property but this did not allow overnight parking and was a bit isolated.

Has everything you need for a short break. Good equipment and shower and bath facilities as well as nice pub within walking distance.

Overall the property was great. I found the parking at the property a challenge. We had what was classed as a large SUV and the folks in the other cottage had parked multiple cars so that maneuvering out was a chore. Great location otherwise and close to the river and an English pub! Property is multi level and really nice kitchen and stove.

A charming cottage with spacious accommodation. The three en suites are a bonus. It comfortably housed six adults, a toddler, a baby and a dog. Ideally situated with several good walks on the doorstep and plenty of pubs within a short drive, not forgetting the welcoming Anglers Rest a five-minute walk away.
