Explore the outstanding beauty of the landscape on bike or foot from the doorstep, so leave your car at the cottage and pop on your walking boots. Head to the historical spa town of Buxton for a spot of culture in the town’s opera house and meander through the array of shops. Visit the impressive country houses of Chatsworth and Haddon Hall to learn about their fascinating history, or take some inspiration from the outstanding gardens, don’t forget to stop at the farm shop to stock up on local goodies. The nearby picturesque village of Hartington offers dog friendly pubs, café, deli, cheese shop and more, not forgetting the pretty duck pond.

This cottage is located on the ground floor and is set within a complex of converted farm buildings, offering a delightful getaway to the Peak District. Step into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner space and make yourself at home. The kitchen area offers everything you need to rustle up a hearty meal, including an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge. Enjoy lazy breakfasts at the dining table and plan activities for the day ahead. After your busy day rest your achy muscles on the sofa in front of the TV. There are stunning views from the back door over surrounding farmland. One step into the king-size bedroom which is cosy and inviting and provides all you need for a relaxing stay with a handy en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC.

Outside there is a spacious shared lawn area with picnic tables perfectly placed to take in the amazing views while relaxing with a glass of something chilled. There is off road parking available for 2 cars.

A lovely secluded spot with amazing views across the dales to the distant hills. The cottage has all of the essentials for a couple and a small dog. It is ideally placed for the surrounding area, with the Manifold Way and other great walks really close. Some amazing tea rooms nearby too!
