Stylish one-bedroom getaway, a short drive to sandy beaches at Crackington Haven, Widemouth Bay and Bude, all great for swimming and surfing.

This cottage is located just 5 miles from the pretty fishing harbour at Boscastle and is a short drive from some of the sandy beaches for which Cornwall is famed. Within easy reach of towns such as Port Isaac, the picturesque location for the TV series Doc Martin, and Bude, a popular seaside town with its choice of restaurants, bars and shops, the location is perfect for exploring this stunning part of Cornwall.

Entering this property, you will feel far-removed from the outside world, with its muted tones and chic Scandinavian styling. The open-plan living area comprises a lounge/kitchen/diner and is just the place to get away from it all and cosy up by the wood burner, whilst watching the surround-sound TV or perhaps a DVD box-set. The kitchen area has everything you will need for your break with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment and washing machine, and is a great place to make use of the local seafood. The property’s bedroom is a chic and stylish double, whilst the bathroom has a shower over bath and WC, and follows the same understated decor as the rest of the house.

Outside there is a shingled seating area, with picnic table and bench, a lovely place to enjoy alfresco meals or a sundowner on a summer evening. Off-road parking is provided.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

The cottage was exactly what we were looking for. A quiet and cosy getaway for my husband and I. It was well equipped and even the DVDs had some classics (cool runnings!) A very pretty, cosy cottage, with a log burning fire which we used most nights. The bed & furniture was comfortable & the cottage very nicely decorated. Well equipped little cottage with everything you need and in a lovely peaceful setting. We enjoyed sitting outside eating our meals overlooking the little village green.
