This characterful property is ideally suited for couples or families to enjoy a seaside retreat. It offers comfortable accommodation with easy access to the high street, beach and harbour.

This refurbished Victorian cottage is perfect for a family friendly holiday by the sea. Whitstable is a delightful seaside town that offers plenty of activities for families. The town has a wealth of independent shops and a fine selection of restaurants, cafes and pubs. Enjoy the beach and coastal walks as well as a variety of water sports including windsurfing, kite surfing and sailing. Whitstable is famous for its oysters which are celebrated every July at the Oyster Festival. Why not take a bike ride along the seafront, or follow the Crab and Winkle Way or ride along the coast of Herne Bay. Nearby is the city of Canterbury, which is home to the country’s oldest Cathedral. Visit the ancient ruins of St Augustine's Abbey and St Martin's Church which form Canterbury's UNESCO World Heritage site.

Enter the property to find the stylish open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge area has a large comfy sofa, two mid-century chairs for relaxing, open fires, TV with access to BT Sports, Netflix and a DVD player. There is also a rustic farmhouse table with six chairs. Through to the bespoke handmade kitchen with electric oven and gas hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and a further table and chairs for two. Stairs leading from the hall take you to the first floor where there are three bedrooms. There are two king-size bedrooms - one with a four poster bed, and views over the local cricket pitch, and a one bunk bedroom. The bathroom has a shower over bath and WC.
French doors from the dining area lead out into a fully enclosed garden with a large decked area complete with garden bench, a patio table and chairs for six, and a BBQ. There is also a lawn area for children to play on. There is unrestricted roadside parking in the surrounding area, both outside the property and also on adjacent streets.


Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Lovely cottage with everything you need in an excellent location close to the High Street.

A lovely, cosy, well thought out house. Very close (10-15 mins) to the high street and harbour. The beds were wonderfully comfortable with great bed linen. The kitchen equipment is amazing if you enjoy cooking. The hosts were super helpful and accommodating. I would not hesitate to recommend this cottage to others.

This is a charming property, well situated for a seaside holiday. The owners have thought it out pretty well, so it offers more space than you might expect from a compact 3-bedroom terraced house. We particularly enjoyed eating on the patio, from where we could supervise an 18-month-old grandson playing in the garden. Lovely old cottage which suited the six of us and our dog very well. Perfect location to town, beach and Canterbury. Nicely decorated, very comfy beds and lovely and clean. All necessary mod cons. Quiet area and walking distance to high street and all its lovely shops and restaurants and beach.
