This property is located close to the coast on Cardigan Bay in West Wales. The nearest beach is within walking distance, a peaceful sand and shingle bay which is a popular with visitors wishing to enjoy seaside walks and explore the rock pools which are revealed at low tide. Just two miles south-east of the property, the town of New Quay is a lovely place to spend a day, with its prettily coloured seafront-houses, marine centre, Dylan Thomas Trail, and harbour from where visitors can join a fantastic dolphin-spotting trip around the bay. Keen walkers will be pleased to learn that the Cardigan Bay Coast Path is easily accessible from the property, offering miles of scenic walks with spectacular views of the bay.

On arrival this cottage, guests can choose whether they want to relax and unwind after their drive in the attractive lounge, or gather around the table in the kitchen over a reviving cup of tea. The lounge is an elegantly finished room which has been lovingly styled whilst retaining much of the original charm of the property. There are two inviting sofas from which to enjoy the TV with Sky channels and DVD, or perhaps cosy-up with a good book in front of the real fire. The kitchen/diner, meanwhile is a spacious room with a country-style finish, offering a dining table, oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine. Upstairs, there are three bedrooms, as well as a bathroom with shower-over-bath and WC, and an additional separate WC. Two of the bedrooms are attractive double rooms, whilst the third bedroom is a peaceful, dual-aspect twin room. All bedrooms are accessed via a few steps from the landing area.

Outside, there is an enclosed patio garden to the front and sides of the property, which has been furnished with a table and chairs and a BBQ.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Outstanding location, its nestled away down a country lane, ample parking outside the grand house. Front views of farmland and woodlands, so peaceful. Its a 10-15 min walk further down the country lane to the beach , you can walk along the beach to New Quay took about an hour, get a boat out too see the dolphins. Great location, close to the beach and to some fantastic hill top walking. Easy walk into New Quay and Aberaeron which both have some nice bars and restaurants. Well equipped cottage with all the kitchen utensils you need, sky tv, games, puzzles and beautifully warm.

Lovely property and well equipped. Ideal for a relaxing break. We enjoyed plenty of walks with the dog and the beach is only a short walk away.

We had a wonderful holiday. The house was beautiful as was the location with a perfect walk to the beach and nearby New Quay. We will definitely be returning as there is still so much to see of the area that we didn't get to cover in just one week. Belle the dog absolutely loved it too. Looking forward to returning next year.

Very comfortable well located holiday home. You'll want for nothing especially in the kitchen, which is unusual! Beaches and lovely coastal walks within walking distance, and New Quay is delightful. Lots of great places to eat and things to do within a short drive. Definitely recommend.

The cottage was comfortable & well equipped. The view from the toilet window was just lovely. The main bedroom was bright and airy and also has beautiful views over the Welsh countryside. Overall we had a lovely relaxing holiday and would definitely recommend this lovely place.

A lovely cottage in a great location. Our family of 5 and chocolate lab had a brilliant time. The cottage suites our needs and was great to come back to at the end of the day. We all really enjoyed the kitchen/dining space in particular.

Cottage location very good for access to beautiful West Wales. Cottage three good bedrooms lovely thoughtful quality furnishings a lot of care and thought given to home from home, new carpet to stairs and upstairs. Hot water and shower very efficient and open fire lovely.

We had a fantastic holiday, visited Newquay saw the dolphins, fish and chips by the sea front. Plenty of room in the cottage to relax, loved the reading corner upstairs we had brilliant weather, two beaches to enjoy and only 15 min walk, we had food delivered by Tesco so no need to find shops.
