Guests who are looking for a quiet, restful holiday can choose to leave their cars parked on the drive and take the fifteen minute walk into the pretty village of Appledore, where there is an array of interesting shops, some tempting bistros, welcoming pubs, and the attractive quay. In the summer season, it is possible to catch a ferry across the estuary to the nearby village of Instow, where there is a yacht club and a sand and shingle beach. Also, around a mile’s walk away is the expansive sandy beach at Westward Ho!, which also boasts a surf academy.

Two of these bedrooms are double rooms, both of which benefit from en-suite shower rooms with WC. The two remaining bedrooms are both relaxing twin rooms.
