Recently renovated lodge overlooking 18-acre woodland estate in an elevated position in the heart of the Lake District

This log cabin offers a tranquil getaway in an idyllic rural surrounding which is situated between Ambleside and Langdale, close by are local pubs, restaurants, cafes and numerous shops. Nearby you have a vast choice of walks, cycle routes and fishing to choose from. The popular Langdale Pikes are only a short drive away as well as Grasmere, Windermere and Bowness where you can experience a boat trip on Lake Windermere. Nearby Rydal Mount at Grasmere is a perfect place to learn about William Wordsworth and walk around the nearby Dora’s field, famous for the poem Daffodils.

Head on in through the front door into the spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The kitchen area includes an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and freezer, the perfect spot to prepare a family meal. The dining area is positioned between the kitchen and the lounge where you can enjoy the resulting meal together. Heading on to the lounge area, you have a leather sofa to relax on with a Smart TV/DVD with Netflix and Xbox One,  an electric fire for those cooler evenings and patio doors leading out to the decking area. Off from the lounge you will find the shower room with shower and WC, and from here is the spacious double bedroom. The twin bedroom, also accessed from the lounge, is spacious and looks towards the woodland area.

Outside you will find a patio area with seating to enjoy views over the woodland whilst enjoying a BBQ. There is allocated parking for two cars.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
