Yorkshire Lavender – a beautiful lavender farm and sculpture park – is less than a mile away and the cottage is perfect for visiting the stunning Castle Howard, one of Britain's finest stately homes (5 miles). There are several thriving market towns to visit including Helmsley (11.5 miles) and Malton (9 miles). The historic city of York is also nearby (13.5 miles).
