This beautiful cottage is perfectly situated for an idyllic retreat just inland from the beautiful sea side town of Sidmouth. It provides a great base to explore the unspoilt countryside, Jurassic coast and why not enjoy a local Devonshire cream tea. Beneath the distinctive red cliffs and green hills of the Sid Valley is the nearby seaside town of Sidmouth, known for its timeless charm and festivals. The River Otter close by meanders its way via Ottery St Mary down to the estuary in Budleigh Salterton and is a good place to spot wildlife including kingfishers, otters and even beavers.
As you enter this charming cottage, ahead of you is a lobby, a great space for you to hang your coats and kick off your boots. Following on, you enter the spectacular lounge area, which boasts period charm with its exposed beams and delightful fire place with gas effect fire. A truly beautiful space to relax, after a long day of exploring all that South Devon has to offer. Relax watching a good film on the Smart TV or listen to your favourite music via the Amazon Echo Dot. To the rear of the lounge is a beautiful kitchen, which is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge with ice compartment, dishwasher, washer/dryer and a coffee machine. Leading off the kitchen is a light and airy conservatory area, where you can sit down and enjoy an evening meal around the dining table with a view over the garden and surrounding countryside. Heading back into the lounge area, a door leads to the staircase which will lead you upstairs where you will find two bedrooms, one double with wall mounted TV and one single with Smart TV and internet access, there is also a shower room with shower and WC on this floor.
Heading outside via the conservatory area, you will find an enclosed patio style garden at the rear of the property with furniture and a BBQ (charcoal not included). There is roadside parking available in the village subject to availability.
