I really enjoyed my weeks break at the cottage with my husband, my mother and her 2 dogs. The cottage was well equipped and is in a very peaceful spot. The owners were helpful when we wanted local information.

Excellent cottage ideally suited to staying with our 3 yorkshire terriers for a week. Very clean and tidy with excellent hosts Robert and Jane who were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. We will hopefully be booking next year with them, about the same time and the same cottage.

This is a lovely property, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. It is a very pretty barn conversion, and Jane and her husband are very helpful. The private garden is a real joy, and we were able to sit out every day watching the birds. for us having a dog it was not good location at all, as it had a ever busy road outside and no way to walk him as no paths. also as no path you had to use the car all the time to the local pub and shops.

We stayed in Swallows cottage for one week and loved it. The owners were welcoming and friendly and happy to help if we needed. The property was in a very good condition and so clean throughout! Loved the converted barn. Really clean and the owners were very hospitable - cake, tea and coffee waiting for us on arrival! Really do need a car to get anywhere though. On a busy 50 mph road. Found a pub within 1 mile which served great food.

Cosy little cottage, on a busy road so no ability to walk anywhere and if you have a dog is a challenge. Garden is good size but dogs need walking. No WiFi so beware! The barn conversion is lovely with a small dog friendly garden at the back, the back fence is a wire fence so a small dog might get through it. No internet provision which was a shame. It is near a busy 50 mph road so unable to walk the dog. It is situated on the coast road about 5 miles from Abbotsbury which is a beautiful village.

The cottage was spotless and two bathrooms was a bonus. It is in a good location just va short drive from Weymouth. There are local shops close by and major supermarkets slightly further afield. The hosts were on hand when needed, which in this case proved useful as the heating played up after we arrived.
