This delightful retreat is nestled in a quiet location on the Devon and Cornwall border, a short drive away and you are at the beach, it’s a great base for a relaxed yet fun escape.

Nestling in a quiet setting yet within a short drive to a selection of amenities, including a golf course, leisure centre, swimming pool, tennis courts, numerous shops, restaurants, galleries, fishing lakes and a selection of beautiful sandy beaches. The South West Coast Path offers spectacular walking in either direction. Tamar Lakes, just five minutes away provides a wetland bird sanctuary, nature reserve and water sports centre whilst also offering lovely scenery and walks. With the property being conveniently located near the A39, this is a great location for touring both Devon and Cornwall and days out could include visits to The Eden Project, the delightful fishing villages of Clovelly, Boscastle, Port Isaac and Padstow.

An idyllic retreat which is situated in the grounds of the owner's house, where a warm welcome awaits, your privacy is assured. On entry to this delightful barn you are greeted by the spacious lounge/diner. The lounge area is the perfect spot to sit back and relax after a long day upon the sands or on those chillier nights, light the beautiful wood burner, cosy up under the throw and watch a movie on the TV/DVD. The dining area has a circular dining table and provides seating for all guest to enjoy their evening meal. Leading on from the dining area is the kitchen which is well-equipped, including an electric oven and hob, fridge, washing machine, coffee machine and microwave. Head up the stairs after a long day and you will find the first floor which has two bedrooms, the master bedroom with a king-size bed and spectacular views of the rolling countryside and across the hall, a spacious twin bedroom. Head space is restricted above the bed on one side. You will also find the bathroom with offers a shower over bath and WC on the first floor.

Head outside to your enclosed courtyard garden area, where you can sit and enjoy your evening meal whilst enjoying the countryside views. Two off-road car parking spaces are available at this property.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Kirsty and Rob were extremely good hosts and nothing was too much trouble. This is an excellent cottage for people with children who would love the small holding with lambs and ponies. Cottage was very comfortable and clean and very welcoming to dogs also. Would highly recommend.
