Relax in this charming beachside cottage, with the coast on your doorstep. It''s the perfect space to cosy up in the cold Scottish winter or bright Highland summer. Enjoy a 1.5-mile stretch of beach or head to Durness Golf Club.

Seemingly at the very edge of the world, this stunning Highland location is the perfect getaway spot for a romantic break for two. Walk along the vast stretch of beach or take a dip in the cold North Sea, before wandering 1 mile to the local village of Durness. Here you'll find general stores, local pubs, and a café and chocolatier on the way. Enjoy a trip to the stunning Loch Eriboll or hike the Ben Hope, just 20 miles from home.

This compact property is made up of three small rooms. Enter into the versatile open-plan living space, where you'll find a kitchen, lounge and diner. The kitchen has enough space to cook for two, and an electric cooker, microwave and fridge with ice box is all you need to rustle up some brunch or a romantic evening meal. Settle into the dining table and enjoy a meal whilst viewing the seascape through the window in front of you, before settling into the sofa and watching something on the TV. Whilst getting ready in the morning, turn on the iPod dock and enjoy some of your favourite music - after all, you don't have any neighbours to worry about. Just off the living area is the bedroom, which offers a comfortable king-size bed to help you recharge for the day ahead, and the bathroom offers a shower cubicle and WC.

Despite not having an enclosed garden, the cottage is surrounded by beach and countryside space, offering you plenty of room to relax outdoors. Sit at the outdoor furniture whilst firing up the charcoal BBQ. If you have a dog, they'll love the freedom to explore whilst you enjoy the evening.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
