This once traditional Scottish farmstead has been tastefully and considerately converted into three attractive and charming cottages. Situated in a peaceful setting in the heart of the Perthshire wilderness.

Each cottage is individual and ideal for couples and families alike. Whether you wish to go walking and explore the local landscape or to bring friends and family together for a special occasion, these cottages provide the perfect accommodation. The surrounding area is famous for its adventure sports where you could try your hand at kayaking, cliff jumping, white water rafting and much more. For those looking for a more tranquil getaway, the Perthshire countryside offers an array of walks, castles and of course whisky distilleries to sample and discover.

This particular cottage is bright and spacious and situated over two floors. As you enter on the ground floor, you walk into an open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining area which benefits from modern underfloor heating, TV, DVD and iPod docking station. French doors lead out to the patio/seating area. The kitchen area is equipped with a dishwasher, electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge with freezer compartment. Washing facilities are located in the communal laundry on site. There is also a shower room and WC on this floor. On the first floor is one double bedroom with en-suite shower over the bath and WC.

Outside the cottage benefits from a patio area with seating which guests are encouraged to enjoy. This area provides the perfect spot to soak up the wonderful surrounding views and sounds of the Scottish countryside. Or why not simply just sit and read a book with a glass of wine and watch the world go by?

There are two similar cottages on the same site, The Stables and The Byre.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

A perfect getaway with our dog. Plenty to do around the area and a perfect place for a staycation. The Bothy is a lovely romantic cottage, with great owners closely if anything is required.

We booked the bothy last minute to get away together for a few nights before our baby comes next month. The bothy is cleaned to a high standard, very modern, big comfy bed and the spa bath was an extra surprise! We met the owners briefly who were lovely! We were lucky to have some nice weather, theres lots of nice walks near by and we drove into DuRead morenkeld which was equally as nice! Would definitely recommend and come back again. Hide

A fantastic holiday that was made all the more special thanks to the wonderful Bothy. A beautifully decorated and maintained home away from home in a wonderful location. We would definately recommend the Bothy to anyone wanting to stop in the area and we will definately be returning next year.
