Gate House is ideally located for visiting local area that includes Barnstaple, Bideford, Westward Ho and other interesting venues. Walked from Gate House to South West Coast path and walked for a couple of hours towards Hartland and had a picnic lunch with Lundy Island in the distance. Walked back towards Westward Ho and had a great day out.

Good location, but be aware that the 'track' alongside the cottage is actually a narrow road that is used by vehicles. Meeting one when walking the dog can be very tricky. Main room is good, but bedroom and bathroom are small. Be prepared to be woken by the owners getting up at 6:15 every morning when they put the dog into the courtyard below the bRead moreedroom.
